VAN HOOVEN

Bernardus van Hooven from Amsterdam, married 14 April 1709 Adriana Jacobse van de Kaap, she was the daughter of Margaretha van Madagascar and Jacob van Coromandel Cust. Adriana married the second time to Floris Brand.

 

Hendrik van Hooven from Amsterdam, married in Cape Town 4 November 1714 Anna Catharina Obits van de Kaap, she died prior to 7 April 1751. According to SAG vol VII, she was the daughter of Cornelis Opits from Dronthem, Norway (note spelling, Hoge spels it 'Opitz') and Maria Margaretha Sachse.
